IMD Startup Competition

Windworks is delighted to have been selected by The IMD Startup Competition as one of 13 startups to collaborate with participants in the Executive MBA programme 2026!  

Over the course of 3 months from May until July we will collaborate with a small group of EMBAs to refine our next fundraising round strategy. The climax of this project will be an in person pitching event to VCs in Silicon Valley in July.

The competition is an annual event that highlights high-potential Swiss ventures, giving them the opportunity to receive guidance and support from IMD’s EMBA for their entrepreneurial projects. Alumni of the programme have gone on to have huge global success creating significant impact.

“Since 1999, we’ve given ourselves the impossible task of choosing which Swiss startups will be successful in the market. Sometimes we get it right. But the IMD challenge is, in one sense, even greater: choosing the ventures that will also provide a great learning opportunity for our students,” says competition founder Jim Pulcrano, Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management.

The 2026 cohort represents a wide range of solutions, including innovation in clean energy, biotech, sustainable materials, robotics, digital health and advanced sensors. We can’t wait to get started in May!
