At Building Bridges, Windworks CEO Sébastien Le Fouest had the pleasure to be part of a panel discussing: “The Future of Energy Systems: From Grid to Distributed Energy”
Sébastien shared the panel with some of the leading distributed energy innovators in Switzerland:
Voltiris, represented by Nicolas Weber, is rethinking solar energy by enabling greenhouses to produce electricity while growing crops.
WattAnyWhere, represented by Alexandre Laybros, is developing distributed power generation solutions to provide reliable electricity where grid capacity is constrained.
Beacon Power Services, represented by Gregoire Lecomte is working to modernize electricity grids.
The panel was moderated by Tech4Regen Communications & Operations Manager Pauline Pichard.
How do we turn promising technologies into real-world solutions that can transform our energy systems? This was the central question the panel discussed, touching on the need to industrialize, test, deploy and commercialize these solutions at scale. That requires not only technological innovation, but also the right infrastructure, financing, business models and partnerships.
